A BIT OF HISTORY With a dream and a photocopier, two men named Augie & Steve opened the doors to A & S Copy Center in 1982. A lot has changed since those days of setting type with an Exacto blade and a wax stick. Printing presses were added, color copiers were purchased, partnerships were dissolved and computers became a way of life. The company name changed to A & S Printing & Copy and eventually the "S" in A & S decided to retire. The transition went almost unnoticed, because the business was purchased by a long-term employee. She was committed to keeping the same level of quality and personalized service that had been offered for almost twenty years. About the only difference customers would notice, would be the new logo focusing on Accuracy & Service, plus a few new touches around the office, such as a full candy jar, a monthly humorous newsletter, and a subtle new "feminine" feel.
