This month I have a couple of big family events so I will have a house full of people to feed, and I'll be updating my cousins about my very exciting life at A & S Printing & Copy. And you know how families can be - they are the best and worst, and always ready to give you their opinions, whether you asked for it or not. Nag nag nag. I didn't write that, you just misunderstood me, besides the conversation wasn't even about you. See, I'm in trouble already and it's only the first paragraph. A family Affair Oh why did I ever think I could write a whole newsletter about families without offending someone? I should have chosen a different topic especially since every time I mention that I have family in town, I hear people groan. Thank you for the sympathy, but why does everyone always feel sorry for people when they say they have family in town? Just because your family might be a pain in the butt, doesn't mean my family has to be too. What gives you the right to put down my family like that anyway? These are the people who love me and care for me and I don't appreciate you talking bad about people you haven't even met. Now see what you have started. How am I supposed to write the rest of this without offending the few family members who are still speaking to me? Let me see now. . . All right, since you started it let's talk about your family for a change. The problem is I don't know anything about your family. I know, I'll consult one of those psychics like John Edwards or Sylvia Brown because they seem to be able to communicate with family members pretty well. So what would they do in a situation like this? Let's see, they would advise me to tell people what they want to hear, err, I mean they would suggest that I tell people what I am supposed to be seeing. Great idea, I've got a crystal earring right here so let me look at it and see what family visions come to me. I'm getting a vision of an older person, probably female. They are likely a source of great conflict for you. There is love lying underneath but confusion and poor communication is getting in the way. This is likely causing much frustration for at least one of the parties involved. Is any of this making sense? Now I see another beside you and he looks to be older too. This gentleman appears to be the quiet gentle type, always ready to step in and keep the peace when necessary. Although, I do sense that he may possibly have a temper if pushed too far, but this is a bit unclear to me now. Another vision I also see you have a family member that has had or is having money troubles. Does that sound like anyone one you know? They appear to be rather young, or maybe just starting out and not quite established yet. They are struggling with issues surrounded by money and most likely not the full grown responsible adult you were at their age. You appear to be frustrated because you continually give good advice that is often disregarded. It does not help that there are other influences in their lives that you cannot control. It is unclear to me what distresses you the most, because there are conflicts surrounding money, but I also see conflicts involving love. But you don't need to be concerned about it because I see that in time, things are likely to improve and will work out for the best. There are a few other visions that I see at the moment. Does the name Bill or John mean anything to you? I'm not sure why he is here but I think he is probably an uncle or cousin or some relative that you don't communicate with often. There is some type of sibling rivalry that I am picking up on too, but it is very unclear to me at the moment. However, I am receiving a strong vision of a person that has the same features as you. I am sensing that one day, probably around age forty, or maybe fifty, something will happen and you will immediately be comforted, or maybe surprised, by knowing that your mother or father is right there beside you - just as if you were looking at their reflection in the mirror. One last vision that I am sensing - it appears that you will soon be in need of some type of work... 'reproduction work.' It is unclear to me as to what the project will be about, but I do know that A & S Printing & Copy are clearly in the picture. CORNY JOKES Why did the youngest child want to become a Boy Scout? Because he thought he was going to inherit tents (inheritance) Why did the oldest child want to become a forest ranger? So he could study the family tree Why did the middle child want to become a mystery writer? Because she was interested in the family plot What type of pet did the father give the nagging mother?
